By approving an estimate, scheduling service, or allowing work to begin, you agree to these terms. They apply to all RV, trailer, automotive, generator, welding, solar, and home repair work by Zita Service and Repair (“Zita”). You confirm you own the unit or are authorized to approve and pay for repairs.
1. Estimates and Rates
- Estimates are valid for 30 days and are based on what can be seen at inspection.
- We will not go over the approved estimate without your approval (text, email, phone, or in writing).
- Diagnostic time is billed at the labor rate, even if you decline the repair.
- A flat service call fee applies to every mobile visit. Travel outside our standard area is quoted before the visit.
- Labor is billed at the posted hourly rate or a quoted flat rate, in 15 minute increments.
2. Parts
- Parts are billed at our posted price. Supplier freight, delivery fees, and fuel surcharges are passed through at cost. Sales tax is charged where required.
- Special order parts must be paid in full before ordering and are non-returnable.
- We may install parts you supply, but we do not warranty those parts or the labor to replace them.
- Replaced parts are returned on request at the time of service.
3. Payment
- Payment is due when work is complete, unless the invoice states otherwise.
- Large jobs may require a deposit, applied to the final invoice.
- We accept cash, check, card, or the payment link on your invoice. Card processing fees may apply.
- Invoices unpaid after 30 days are charged 1.5% per month. Returned checks are charged $35.
- Collection costs and reasonable attorney fees are the customer’s responsibility, as allowed by Colorado law.
- Prepaid service bundles are non-refundable. Unused visits may be transferred to another unit or applied as credit within 12 months.
4. Your Responsibilities
- Provide safe, level access to the unit with room to work.
- Have the unit unlocked with keys available, and hookups ready if the job needs them.
- Remove valuables and firearms. Keep children and pets away from the work area.
- Tell us about known problems, leaks, or hazards before work begins.
- Make sure work is allowed at the location (HOA, storage lot, or landlord rules).
- If we cannot access the unit when we arrive, the service call fee still applies.
- We may stop work if conditions are unsafe. Time already spent is billed. A sanitation surcharge applies to waste tank and biohazard work.
5. Hidden Damage and Liability
- If hidden damage is found (water rot, delamination, corroded wiring, failed framing), we stop and contact you before doing more work. We are not responsible for conditions that existed before service.
- Old, brittle, or rusted components may break during normal repair. Replacement is billed with your approval.
- We are responsible only for the specific repair listed on the invoice.
- Inspections reflect the unit’s condition on that day only. We are not liable for freeze damage if water is added after winterization, or if extra components (ice makers, washers, outside showers) were not disclosed.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the work in question. We are not liable for lost trips, campground fees, lodging, towing, rentals, or loss of use.
6. Warranty
- Workmanship is warranted for 90 days from the invoice date.
- New parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty only.
- Contact us first. Repairs done by others without our approval are not reimbursed.
- Not covered: customer-supplied or used parts, temporary repairs, misuse, accidents, weather, freezing, rodents, road damage, normal wear, or units altered by others after our service.
- For manufacturer or extended warranty work, any denied charges and deductibles are the customer’s responsibility.
7. Cancellations, Storage and Other Terms
- Please give 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Same-day cancellations after we are en route are charged the service call fee.
- Units left at our location must be picked up within 3 days of notice. After that, storage is $25 per day.
- Units left more than 30 days after notice with an unpaid balance may be treated as abandoned under Colorado law.
- We keep all lien rights allowed under Colorado law for unpaid labor, parts, and storage.
- You authorize us to move or road test the unit as needed to diagnose or confirm repairs.
- We may photograph the unit and work for our records. Photos are used in marketing only with your permission.
- These terms are governed by Colorado law. Disputes will be handled in Weld County.
- These terms plus your signed estimate or work order are the full agreement. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
